| Standard Combination Chain -The Combination Chain is made of cast block links and steel side bars alternately spaced. The "N" combination chains have pear shaped barrels to provide additional metal where the chain engages the sprocket teeth to increase the service life of the chain. The close fitting joints in combination chain tend to keep out particles of abrasive material, preventing wear. The large wearing surfaces further reduce wear. Making the chain desirable where gritty material is handled and an inexpensive chain is required. The pins are milled flat on the end and are accurately fitted in to correspondingly shaped holes in the steel side bare. This confines pin wear to inside of the long barrel of the block link, thus insuring minimum elongation of the pitch. | |
| WS, DW, Outboard Roller Combination Chain - The Steel Bushed Rollerless Chain is designed as a substitute for chain of the combination type where conditions require a heavier and more rugged chain for heavy duty service. | |
| Steel Bushed Rollerless Chain - The double offset wearing shoes on the cast link provides wearing surfaces for both carrying and return runs, thus increasing chain life. Multiple strands are sometimes used to | |
