TIFFIN, Ohio – Webster Industries, Inc., an industry leader in conveyor chain, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Krista Scherger to Supply Chain Planning Manager.
Scherger will be responsible for developing and leading the supply chain planning team to meet company objectives. Her duties include communicating and addressing production and supply chain bottlenecks, reducing inventory, as well as implementing ERP best practices within Supply Chain and Operations group.
Until now, Scherger has been involved in the day-to-day planning efforts for various departments as well as a key leadership role in our implementation and development of Webster’s ERP system. This promotion allows her to be involved on a broader scale by monitoring the ongoing improvement of supply chain and plant operations. “My new role at Webster comes with a lot of responsibility, but what I am the most excited for is the opportunity I was given to be able to lead and develop the planning department team,” said Scherger.
Scherger joined Webster in 2011 as a Supply Chain Planner. Since then she has assumed several different positions within the Operations department.
“Krista has excelled in the application of our new ERP system, Epicor, and has been instrumental in the implementation of Best Practices. Krista will be able to monitor and adjust our planning resources which will provide greater customer responsiveness through reductions of our non-value added activities and inventories,” Nick Spurck, Vice President Operations, said.
