TIFFIN, Ohio – Webster Industries, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-quality engineered products and technical solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Deion Fortney to the position of Maintenance Supervisor.

Deion first joined our organization on October 10, 1988, as a Punch Press Operator. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and an eagerness to grow within the organization, he transferred into the Maintenance Department on March 23, 1990, where he has proudly dedicated the past 35 years of service.

Throughout his time in maintenance, Deion has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. He holds a State Journeyman Card and has also served as a Group Leader and Facilitator within the department, providing valuable mentorship and hands-on support to his fellow team members.

In his new role as Maintenance Supervisor, Deion will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities related to our facility infrastructure, utilities, and production equipment. He will lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors while managing preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. His role will also include supporting safety compliance, overseeing facility improvements, managing contractors, and playing an active role in developing his team’s skills through coaching, training, and mentorship.

Deion brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting ability, leadership skills, and a solutions-focused approach that has earned him great respect across the organization. We are excited to see him continue to grow in this new leadership role and help drive the continued success of our maintenance operations.
