TIFFIN, Ohio – Webster Industries, Inc., an industry leader in conveyer chain, sprockets, and vibratory equipment, is excited to announce that Isiah Moore has been promoted to Shop Supervisor.
Moore is a United States Navy Veteran and a former collegiate athlete, bringing a wealth of experience in leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. He is a detail-oriented individual capable of managing both processes and people with high accuracy and efficiency. His skills include leadership, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, heavy equipment operation, CNC milling and programming, procurement, and budgeting.
In his most recent role as a CNC Machinist here at Webster Industries, he operated CNC machines to produce high-quality parts, interpreted engineering drawings, and conducted in-process inspections. Prior to that, he worked as a Rigger/Operator at Shipyard Staffing LLC in Norfolk, VA, where he operated machinery for lifting heavy equipment on naval vessels and performed work in nuclear plant environments.
During his service in the US Navy as an Interior Communication Technician, he managed technicians, coordinated maintenance efforts, and handled mission-critical equipment impacting national security.
Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communication from Boise State University and an Associate of Arts from Mesa Community College.
In his role as Shop Supervisor, he will supervise shop employees across 2nd shift. His responsibilities will include planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods and working conditions. He will ensure effective employee relations, balance quality, productivity, and safety, manage departmental performance, and maintain proper inventory levels.
His strong background in leadership and technical skills makes him a perfect fit for our team, and we are confident he will make significant contributions to our ongoing success.
