Webster Industries, Inc., an industry leader in conveyor chain, sprockets and vibrating equipment, is pleased to announce the hire of Thomas Bodnar as Manufacturing Process Engineer. Bodnar’s educational background and experience in manufacturing engineering makes him an excellent candidate for this role.
Bodnar started his career in 2020 as a Co-op here at Webster Industries and continued to work at Webster for three years while obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. During his time as a Co-op, Bodnar was responsible for designing the new link weld assembly stations and designing plant layouts for both the Tiffin and Meridian manufacturing facilities. Bodnar was also instrumental in the purchase of the 3D printer that is currently being utilized for the modeling and prototyping of new parts and tooling, among several other projects.
In his new role, Bodnar will be accountable for maintaining and improving all production and processing equipment and additionally, driving quality into our product by implementing process improvements. In this role, he will challenge all aspects of engineering including Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Electrical, and Continuous Improvement Engineering.
