Webster Industries, Inc., an industry leader in conveyor chain, sprockets, and vibrating equipment, is excited to announce that Kathy Carter has been promoted to General Manager of the ACTION Vibratory Equipment Division effective December 1, 2022. Kathy’s proven ability to lead and manage business processes of the ACTION Division will allow Webster to reach new heights in growth and customer value.

In this role, she will succeed 50 years of leadership from her father Harold LaVeine, Founder; Andrew LaVeine, President; and Dan LaVeine, Executive Vice President as the principal leader of ACTION. Over the next four months Andy and Dan will transition to corporate business development, special projects, and consultive roles. Kathy assumes the leadership role and will be developing succession management and organizational structure to continue the trajectory of success the ACTION division has achieved since the acquisition in February of 2021. The combination of Webster and ACTION has proven to have strong synergistic management in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Administration with the team in place. Kathy will bring business knowledge, leadership, strong management skill set, and energy to integrate Webster Guiding Principles, further develop the ACTION team, and meet the needs of our growing customer demand.

Kathy has been with ACTION since 2006 in various roles including Business Operations and Human Resources. She holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Willamette University College of Law, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in both Business Administration (with an international business focus) and Speech Communications from Oregon State University, as well as a Minor in Spanish from the same institution.
