TIFFIN, Ohio – Webster Industries, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-quality engineered products and technical solutions, is pleased to announce that Blake Downs has joined our team as an IT Support Specialist. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, Blake will be responsible for providing technical support across the organization, ensuring our systems and devices function smoothly, and contributing to various IT projects.
Blake brings a strong background in IT client support and service, hardware and software troubleshooting, and IT asset management. With experience at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company as a Data Center, Deskside & Network Technician, he has demonstrated expertise in network administration, vendor coordination, inventory management, and technical training. Additionally, Blake has a CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification and proficiency in multiple operating systems including Linux Server, Cisco Systems hardware, and Service Now.
In this role, Blake will be the first point of contact for IT support, assisting with hardware and software inquiries, maintaining databases, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and security protocols. With excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, he is eager to contribute to our organization’s success.
